This panel investigates how financial education intersects with gender and democratic participation, focusing on structural inequalities, educational practices, and empowerment strategies. Despite growing attention to financial literacy, gender disparities persist in access, confidence, and outcomes. The panel will explore how educational systems can address these gaps through inclusive curricula, targeted interventions, and critical pedagogies. Contributions will draw from empirical research, policy analysis, and classroom practices to propose a more equitable and democratic approach to financial education.
